Having already startet with 6 MW in 2011 at the Werlte Site (Hy2Gen Atlantis), a further 2 MW have now been added at the Haren Site (CEC Haren) and 14 MW in Lingen (RWE). Filling Hubs enable the green hydrogen to be transported via tube trailers.
The GET-H2 pipelines of OGE, Thyssengas and Nowega are Germany's first transport network pipelines, which will go into operation as part of the core network as early as 2025. Almost another 150 km of pipelines will also be built, the longest and most important as early as 2027 - right across the Emsland region.
14 MW have already been built in the form of a test electrolysis plant at the RWE site in Lingen - but things will really get going in 2025, when the first 100 MW will go into operation as part of IPCEI. The final expansion is expected to reach 414 MW (314 MW from RWE, 100 MW from BP) by 2027.
